Honoring Our Father By Honoring His Word

American Baptists for Biblical Authority (ABBA) is a collective of American Baptists dedicated to glorifying God by upholding traditional, biblically-accurate beliefs and practices within the American Baptist Churches USA (ABCUSA).

To accomplish this, ABBA seeks to:

• Empower and inspire American Baptists to the call of evangelism and to make disciples of all nations.
• Empower and inspire American Baptists to the call of evangelism and to make disciples of all nations.
• Foster unity and fellowship among American Baptists who seek to honor God’s truth.
• Preserve the doctrinal integrity of ABCUSA churches committed to Baptist and evangelical orthodoxy.
• Embolden conservative engagement with, and resist withdrawal from, the American Baptist and affiliate institutions.
• Encourage the reformation of churches that have strayed from Biblical faith and practice.
• Counter the spread of heretical beliefs and theological liberalism.
